Ahh ok, I'm not entirely sure, but I saw a picture of one guy who folded down the rear and passenger seats and put the bonnet at an angle diagonally across the car and it worked.

Dropped the engine to £100 now. Just need it gone!!! Open to any offers.

Just finished refurbing a Lupo GTi that I bought a couple of months ago, these are a few pretty decent things I have left from the refurb. ENGINE Full engine block and head, needs reconditioning due to camshaft siezure persumably due to oil starvation, due to poor condition of the pump. BATHURST ALLOYS - SOLD Similarly the alloys will need refurbing not really due to curbing but the laquer and paint has began to flake in places on all but one alloy. All the alloys have Arrowspeed 195/45/R15's with loads of tread. Also come with all 4 centre caps aswell. ALUMINIUM BONNET - SOLD Lupo GTi Reflex Silver (LA7W) bonnet, in good condition, no bad stone chipping or spots of tar, just a small crease above one of the headlights. PICTURES OF THE ENGINE BLOCK, HEAD ETC PICTURES OF BATHURSTS PICTURES OF THE BONNET If you need anymore pictures, just ask and I will get them on here. Yeah its definitely a GTi as it's my GTi in the background of the first photo. I don't know if a finished bonnet is obsolete, but when I phoned the other day I was only offered a unpainted bonnet for £500, so I persume thats all you can get now.

No it can't rust. Its a GTi bonnet so its made out of aluminium.

Reflex Silver Lupo GTi bonnet but fits all Lupo's, the bonnet is in good condition except a small crease just above on of the headlights (see pictures). £150 ono (will cost £500 for a unpainted bonnet from VW) Not sure about postage, so would prefer collection unless posting is really needed. Pictures of the centre caps I'm saying I bought a 5-speed engine and have a 6-speed Lupo and had this problem, and what I'm saying is exactly what VW told me when I asked why the fitting to fit the gearbox was in different place on the 5-speed engine compared to the 6-speed. Just saying that in case when someone buys it and may have that problem can't say I didn't warn them ha.

I'm not sure but when I got my first engine sent it was a 5-speed engine and wouldn't fit to my gearbox. When I phoned up VW they told me that the Lupo and Polo had the same engine, but when the 6-speed Lupo came it out it was a whole new engine and box. So one engine was for the Polo and 5-speed Lupo and another for the 6-speed Lupo. If you buy a 5-speed engine for a 6-speed or vice versa they don't even come near to lining up to fit together.

Yes, they all have centre caps, just forgot to put them in the picutres as was picking the best four out of the eight from my new ones aswell. Will try and get a picure on later today.

All the alloys have budget Arrowspeed 195/45/R15's with loads of tread, done just over 1000 miles. PICTURES Looking for £200 for the engine and £150 for the alloys and tyres. I only live like 45 minutes away so I would probably collect it. Would you take about £80 for the bonnet, because mine only has small dent and I've been quoted about £100 to have it repaired, so would be no point really. Thanks Josh.
