  1. Guys, looking to get my p slots acid dipped and powder coated later in the summer, and unsure on colours! Leaning towards a gun metal gray or black. May be tempted to go for something a little different... thoughts? Made the most of finally getting some dry weather today and gave the loop a polish...
  2. A couple of mates went down but I was in London last weekend so couldn't make it! Would have come down otherwise.
  3. yeap. see, the fonz and "the fonz" are pretty much the same person/car
  4. Cheers dude It's defo an e, black bump strips. Wish it was an s, could have had a better interior! The tracking was off when some of the pics were taken. that's a right spot! sorted now though Hoping to get a new roof box soon (this ones a bit of a wreck you see!)
  5. Ahhh yeah that'll be because it's Lincoln Think I've seen you around actually a while back! Looking smart mate!
  6. haha! There are more than you might think
  7. So, have been pretty slack on here and not posted for flippin aaaaages! So it's about time I did. Had my Lupo for a couple of years now, and now I've got a job (been a student for far too long), I can finally afford to start doing a few bits and bobs! So, here's a few pics of my loop... It a 1.4e. Still fairly standard atm, but done a few bits As I got it, looking pretty funny next to a mates polo... Once lowered 40mm, bump strips removed, black badges... All set for Leeds fest last year... P Slots... As we are now... Hoping to get the wheels reconditioned over the summer, and then maybe look for a new interior. Standard gray atm. Then hopefully coiles when I can afford it! )
  8. i had similar faults coming up a couple of months ago. changed the brake light switch. more faults then came up. turns out the EGR valve needed a good clean out. Seemed a bit strange that other faults were being brought up because of this, but it was definately having this cleaned out that fixed the problem. not saying this is the case for you, but definitely worth a look.
  9. ive just been and had mine checked out at Lookers in Lincoln today. had a couple of bubbly areas along the guttering (like most of us on this thread) and they seemed to think mine had been resprayed too! seemed a bit odd though, like they were reallly trying to find a reason not to do the job. as far as i can see its not been resprayed. they were searching for 'blend marks' for ages and couldnt find any, but were picking on the smallest things to suggest that it had been spayed. I'm tempted to try another VW branch.... All seems a bit strange!
  10. taa liiike not sure ive seen him around. ill keep an eye out! Mike
  11. yeah i'll check that out mate. cheers
  12. haha ah never mind then! yeah you must be! seen it around a few times. looks proper smart mate!
  13. ah right lol, i must be getting something mixed up then. pretty sure its you he was on about though. he goes out with Adam Weston's sister
  14. live near bassingham with the parents atm. around lincoln most days though as im at lincoln uni. i recon you might have met my mate ash dowie a bit back at a party in london? he was saying you smashed your loop or something. you're the guy with the red roof right? i might be totally wrong, so that may mean nothing to you! haha
