Thanks guys got my eye on a few Lupo Sports as ive found the insurance OK, i stay walking distance from my work 150 metres or so so wont be driving to and from work but ill probs be hitting up the meets and shows next year so doin a bit of mway miles.

You could try a decent car valeter, the one near here has that G3 compound stuff and an orbital sander or whatever it is, a few mates had cars done and its **** hot from what ive seen takes out reasonably deep scratches. Deek

But its **** compared too the lupo IMHO, its looks cack the seats are horrible, the interior is cack looking fair enough is cheaper than the lupo was though

I'm 22 aint passed yet but looking too invest savings in a car, got quoted £1074 fully comp for a 1.4 sport and about £1200 for the GTi, then i put my GF also 22 with 3 years driving and no NCB as a named driver, she was insured on her mums car and only got hers last year and i got £700 and £850.

The other day i was looking at cars for th GF mostly green (eco) ones, then being a huge lupo fan although not owning one YET, i suggested one as for an older car they are really economical, then i stumbled across the 3L the one we didnt get and thought 94mpg, if VW released that this year or the lupo in general they would have sold **** loads more than they did, although i think the appeal of the lupo is the fact you dont see loads of them on the road its like a 10:1 polo to lupo ratio. Hey all im busy browsing for my first car and hoping too buy before i do my test as im hoping having a wee beastie in the driveway will give me the push to go and do my test. I'm 22 and im wondering whats the best engine size for me is the 1.0 litre nippy enough or am i better looking at the 1.4's (75 or 100), ive seen a few nice 1.0 litres for sale i yellow , Seems to be my favourite or the powder blue kinda seen too many blacks and silvers and feel like being colourful no offence as they look good in any colour. Also how much pennys should one look at spending too get either a 1.0 or 1.4 in decent nick with average mileage ? Deek

Hey guys im new too the whole dub scene could be coz i dont drive lol, yeah quite sad for a 22 yo but i live where i work and got a bus straight to my uni door and being a poor student never really bothered with doing my test, anyway finished uni and gonna be doing lessons plus test soon (done lessons before). Ive always had a softspot for the lupo mainly because i tried to get my GF to buy one when here land boat audi 80 died, but couldnt find one in her budget. So she now has a kia picanto pffft, Anyway looking into getting me a lupo and possibly going euro on it and because im one of those IT types i will be kitting out with a Carputer. Im liking the GTI but coz its my first car will be a little out of what im willing to pay insurance wise, plus ive never seen a yellow GTI and im liking yellow just to be different , got a good idea what i want to do too it and ive had a blast of photochop (on my laptop and i can officially confirm photoshopping with a touchpad is awful) also im not great at it as i only started last week lol. Couldnt really find and decent chequer so i made one which looks pants but hpoefully you get the idea
