Ant0889
I was given a free boost gauge by a friend who upgraded, and I wanted to fit it to my ArosaAs all the pipes on the TDI seem to run vacuum I'm not too sure how to plumb it in.I did a search and found this link but all the pictures are dead http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?/topic/10111-14-tdi-boost-gauge/page-2?hl=+boost+gaugeI then followed the link from that threas and found this ...http://www.a2oc.net/forum/showthread.php?10298-TDI-Boost-Gaugewhich suggested the use of this Revotec self installing nipple...http://www.revotec.com/acatalog/Push-On_Tail.htmlhas anyone used this before or got any idea how/where to install it?cheers
Dblock
I've got a scangauge which has boost so I can't really help. But how big is your gauge?
Ant0889
Its a standard 52mm round gauge, i'm going to get a universal dash mount pod to locate it. Tell me more about a scangauge?
Dblock
It basically plugs into your obd2 to take reading from the ECU so you can see most things. coolant temp, inlet temps, boost, load, volts etc etc.
Defcon5
Is there a reason you want this gauge fitted?
Ant0889
Because I can really. No sensible reason available
JackR9412
I've fitted one to mine, I've just drilled a hole in the top inlet pipe then tapped it so that I can but a connector in, then I've just ran a thin rubber pipe in to the car through the bulk head then up to my center air vent, I don't know how to post pictures to show you or I would
