jamesjdarby
I'm going to get some lowering springs for my Lupo 1.7 SDI, but ive seen springs advertised for different engines like the 1.0L and 1.4 petrol. Will these still fit any Lupo as long as they're for the same year car? I cant see why they wouldnt.
arosaSDI
its all to do with the weight of the car, the 1.7sdi is heavy compared to a 1.
AJB-09
As above it's all about spring rates, get the ones suited for your car or you could find the ride harsh or way to bouncy
matt123roll
On lowering springs you won't notice a difference. If you are buying springs alone any will do really. If you're spending the extra on a spring/shock kit get a car specific one. Lowering springs are a bouncy ride anyway and spring rates don't differ THAT drastically between models, not enough to worry you on a £50 set of springs anway.
