Oaten Posted February 19, 2012 Report Share Posted February 19, 2012 Ok so last week I was driving along in 2 and changed to 3rd and had a bump and relised I couldnt get it into any other gears apart from 3rd and 4th. Manged to get it to my gfs and got it into all of the gears (with a struggle) car drives but when I let off the accelerator the car makes a whining noiseAny ideas what this could be?ANy help would be greatThanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jonisonvespa Posted February 19, 2012 Report Share Posted February 19, 2012 you may be lucky, maby a linkage problem but sounds like ur be a looox is on its way out, i wouldnt drine it any more cos you'll damage it more. id take it out and split the box and have a look to see if it can be re-built, but a second hand box will be cheaper.
