If I had an active box in the boot (sub, box & amp), how would I control the volume of it just by using the head unit controls? Or to put it another way, how would the `bass-box` volume increase as I was turning the volume up on my Gamma head unit (because pressumably I would be feeding it a `line-out` signal from the head unit)?This is probably a dumb question(s?) as I'm new to the game but I'd appreciate any help.Cheers. Tigz™ Posted February 9, 2005 Report Share Posted February 9, 2005 Yes thats right mate.When you turn up your headunit the imput signal to the amp increases.What you have to do is ballance beteen the input signal from the headunit, and the imput sensitivity gains on the amp.
