DanGTI Posted October 6, 2004 Report Share Posted October 6, 2004 they are springs only...all the usual babble about problems with springs only about shocks blowing up is over the top. I have done 12k without problems. The only thing i would say is that although the car is still thrashable, and the handling far improved, is a bit bumpy so will be buying coilovers next time as I have to use it for going to work every day so need a bit more comfort. Tigz™ Posted October 6, 2004 Report Share Posted October 6, 2004 Iv also got springs on Standard Lupo GTi shocks that were 12000k miles old when I bought them. And I have done 22000 miles in them, and my ride is still very good.It still handles well, pretty comfty, even with all my gear in the boot, the springs have done a great job.But I still cant wait to get some coilovers!
