GasWeedorAss
Hi, I know this is a common question over every forum but I'm afraid my situation could possibly be different and I don't understand much of cars, yet. My lupo was bought in 2nd hand and it came with a heavy clutch, I mean, it needs a lot of pressure for a lady to press it down and a even bigger force to secure it when releasing back up again. It goes by levels, like stairs. What could be causing this situation? The cars looks okay from a periodic garage check up and no engine noises. Oils are up to date with less than 1k miles and this problems is the only thing that I can point. Is it possible wear or can it be adjusted? Thanks in advance! GasWeedorAss
Maybe... Everything points in that direction, which could easily be the most expensive hand work out there in terms of clutch Well, that's for clarifying! Rich
Be careful as the heavy pedal leads to the death of the pedal box.

Is there any simple way I can check the wear level of the pedal box? In my country a clutch kit + arm work costs around 300 eur Edited November 19, 2018 by GasWeedorAss
Rich
Ah, LHD. You don't have pedal box problems, don't worry about it.
