stuparu_mihairadu
Hello,I would like too bost the engine a bit.Would it be an easy job to just refit the cylinders, pistons, etc (and whatever needs to be replaced) to bring it up to the 16 V model.Or should I just buy a new engine that has the 16V ???Do I need to change the ecu on it if I just modify it? Does the gearbox limit my "new" performance ? should it be changed too?If I want to reach 100 or more BHP what should I be looking at? What path should I aproach. If I chose to mount a turbo on it, what would be the km pulled on the engine before I need to repair/change the bits that are over hauled? rockey5uk2001
as far as i am aware theres not an 8V if you want more power, sell the car & buy a new one, or drop a bigger engine in it
jon_273
There's not an 8v in the UK. He's not in the UK.I think it'll never happen. Just buy a 16v one. Why build what you can already buy?
