HELLPP :( Speakers, Sub & Amp Question????

Recommended Posts

Hey guys basically I'm getting a Sub and Amp, I have already got some 6 inch Vibe door speakers which are currently running off my head unit.

When I got my Vibe speakers and fitted them to the original wires they popped at high volumes, i later found out that that's because they are peaking to early.. Something to do with the fact they are getting the same power my original speakers were??

Just wondered if that is true and if I get an amp will it stop them from popping like they are peaking to early??

Also is it possible that I could get a switch to cut off the sub but keep the speakers running from the amp?? Because i don't always want the WOMP WOMP all the time lol ?? ;)

Hope somebody can help me In my investigation ;) I am sorry for the log paragraph & I will be thankful to anyone that takes some time out to read it and help out :)
