Silver!
Next service will be an annual service, maybe a brake service. You can check the recommended service type in your existing handbook.
katierouse20
When will clutch and cambelt need doing?
Brucyy
The cambelt will need doing at Either at 60k or 80k depending on when it was last done, got a feeling it's meant to be every 40k
Silver!
The service manual originally said 60k or 4 years for the cambelt, but VW changed it to 40k or 4 years with tensioner and waterpump change to be included. If there is no record of it being done, I would recommend getting it done asap, or asking them to do it for you. If it has been done, you are OK for another 20k or the reminder of 4 years since it was last done.Clutch will need doing when it wears out, which will depend very much on how it's been driven.
