The gas struts have definitely wandered past their 'best-before' date!; I can see I can buy a pair on-line for about twenty quid - is it easy to pop the old ones off? RobG Posted March 2, 2014 Report Share Posted March 2, 2014 Yep as far as i remember there's a clip over each end, take the clip off and the gas strut will detach with a wiggle (granted this was on a passat bonnet, but i think the theory's the same) 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
