deewhy
hello folks, me again.i'm about to plumb in my power steering but will need to source the correct pipes.my question is, looking from the front of the car (arosa) the steering rack has two banjo fittings, 1 high one and 1 lower down. what one of these goes to the pump? with this information I should be able to figure out what I need.the top banjo is 14mm and the lower 16mm. the pump has a 16mm fitting but i'm not convinced that the 2 16mm banjos should be connected. if anyone has a Haynes manual or a diagram, even better.1.8T AGU engine and power steering pumpstandard arosa power steering.cheers in advance
jeeprk
14 mm is for the long pipe, the one that goes from the pump to the rack, the long pipe to the pump has 16mm. The 16mm banjo is for the short return pipe from the fluid reservoir to the rack.Hope this helps!
