2003 lupo 1.4 petrol 16 valve engine starts epc light out, engine stops epc light on

hi car stalled at traffic lights. now when starting epc light goes out engine starts but stops after1 second and epc light comes on. tried 10 times and same each time. any ideas?

This seems quite common for this to happen when stalling only, odd!

Get someone to check your brake lights for you, if they are all working disconnect your battery for 30 minutes, then reconnect, should be jobs a goodun.

If your brake lights aren't working you need a new brake light pedal switch which is around £15
