Bigplum Posted December 22, 2013 Report Share Posted December 22, 2013 Dead as in the rear broken up ? , it's a fiddle to rebuild but do-able , the kits work ok , but there is differences on the paddle length, The basic barrel lock is the same on passats ,golfs , skoda Fabias , so if needed get a lock from a scrappy and swap the bits over, The paddle may well be ok , it's the C shaped clip that suffers most, due to rubbish metal and a strong spring. When you rebuild it , a vice comes in handy for holding the barrel whilst relocating the parts Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
