Afksam
I want to take out the airbags from the seats but don't really want to mess them up too much in the process so if anyone else could spread some light on the subject it would be much appreciated
James827
why do you wanna remove them?

Spartan535
No idea but:* Insurance company will probably throw a fit;* Under new MoT rules it would probably fail as you are removing factory fit airbags;* May make it unsellable in the future! Why don't you just remove the seats, store them and fit a set of none airbag seats - and then work out how you are going to turn the airbag warning light off! At least then at MoT and selling time you have factory originals - I'll let you solve the insurance bit!
Afksam
The seats airbags are not even wired in they're from a mk4 golf
jon_273
Airbags are heavy! I'd be removing them too if I fitted a set ok MKIV Recaro's.
