Parm90
I've had a 1.0 Lupo for a few months now and for the past few weeks I've had the battery draining from time to time. I have a sub but it's defo not draining the battery. I checked all the fuses and nothing has been blown. I jump started it and when I took off the leads and closed the plastic lid on the fuse box, the engine cut out :S. I looked into the problem a few days later and found that the earth cable is cutting out the engine if I press on it. Anyone had any similar issues? Help a brother out lol. Parm90
Yeah loving the colour! Thanks for the welcoming. Thanks for the advice. Just a few questions. Wear does the Earth cable lead to? How do I go about cleaning the earth cable?
mattarosa
havent got a clue where it leads to i know there are several over the car, one down by the horn that i know of and just a bit of wire wool rubbed over it should do the trick
Parm90
Cheers mate but I've figured it out! The earth leads to the gearbox and starter motor. Turns out it may be faulty and probably needs changing. And it could be the junction box, which is where the earth is connected to. I may as well just change both and see if that does the trick. Thanks for the help. How long you had your seat?
