Tjp8 Posted March 23, 2013 Report Share Posted March 23, 2013 Basicly cut a long story short,Bought lupo with a bad engine , put a new engine in with only 30k onit, started her up and from cold it didn't want to idle so u have to keep the revs up and after a few mins itl idle on its own ,So I cleaned the tb, and had it reset/realigned and still had problems, so replaced the sensor thats on the side of the inlet manifold, oil pressure sensor was changed because I broke the last one , also cleaned the egr, inlet manifold , breather pipes, new oil filter , plugs , leads , coil pack, coolant temp sensor, ( had all these parts spare from old engine which ran fine but engines head gasket was gone)The battery is fine and also is the alternator , when the car is running is works perfect its literally just on start up when its cold.Any help will be greatly appreciated Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
