Can I use polo ignition leads on my lupo?

Here's the story...

I suspected a knackered coil, ignition leads or spark plugs on my Lupo 1.4 sport (100bhp).

Changed the plugs and problem was still there.

Then I spotted a coil going really cheap on Ebay (£0.99) it was from a Polo but had she same part number so I bought it.

It just arrived today and to my suprise he has sent the ignition leads with it too.

So what I wanted to know was, can I use the ignition leads from the Polo on my Lupo as it would help me rule my current ones out as a problem without spending any extra cash.

I don't want to keep them on there, I just want to try them to see if they fix the problem and if they do I will invest in a new set of Lupo leads.

Here is an image of the Polo leads:

they look like they are for an 8V 1.4 engine.

looks like the leads i used on my mates 1.4 mk3 golf.

id use angled style ones (also rubber iirc) designed to fit into the space for your spark plugs.

Gti ones fit

EDIT:

i can see a King-lead there, for a Coil pack going into a distributor, which im sure this engine does not have!

im very sure its just the Four leads coming from a coil pack and into the Plugs.

Also, coil-packs are a common fault with this engine.

also ive heard they don't like pattern parts, so buy a genuine coil pack if you can!
