Help please sub and amp problems

Im looking to pair up a good amp and sub and need some help i dont want to overpower it and blow it but im building it into a false floor in the boot so any help i would be very thankful and suggestions on better sub and amp

I can't comment on any of the equipment you have listed above as I've never used any of it.

BUT I have a Pioneer DEH8300SD headunit which has been really good for me, loads of adjustment for sound quality, lots of connections for amps/ipods/iphones/mp3 etc and looks pretty cool too.

I then have a hertz ep4 amp running a set of pioneer tsa171ci components in the front and the rear 2 channels on the amp bridged powering an 8 inch alpine subwoofer, which at the time of purchase was about £40 and had good reviews.

That system goes pretty damn loud and doesn't really distort until you get to near the max volume, which you wouldn't want to listen to it at anyway :P. It also offers pretty decent sound quality at a reasonable cost. The 8 inch sub sounds like a much larger sub too.

I've also treated the car with about £150 worth of dynamat to stop vibrating panels.
