Cubby_TDI
Hi,I have fitted to set of Venom short stroke shocks and FK Automotive 55/40mm springs to my 1.4TDI an it's undriveable! It's on stock 14's and the front bottoms out on any small hole i hit. The back is also much higher that the front.... not just 15mm. Anyone else had this issue with FK spings? I'm assuming although the springs say all models the TDI has a different spring rate due to the slight extra engine weight and this is causing my sump to scrape of the ground?Next question is should i get a set of eibach pro line springs or a set of coilovers? I have eibachs on my Focus ST running 19's an it drives great. My old Polo tdi also had eibachs and it was also nice and smooth.Any advice would be great. The Lupo is my daily runner (I have a 70 mile commute every day) so i would like it to sit nice but not too low. Cheers,Cubby
BrownBehr
Could do with some help on this too as I want to lower the tdi. Was thinking of getting lowering springs but was afraid something would have happened similar to you. But I would like to know what coilovers would be nice (and reasonable) for a tdi. Would get coilovers I think, makes more sense I believe.
