I've checked the heatshields and although 1 was a little loose and now tight, we have a mechanical rattle from the left hand side (loking under bonnet) of the engine, around the pulleys area. When the engine is revved it disappears only to return as the revs die. It seems to resonate if the revs drop quickly.This isn't my car, I hardly ever drive it, so I don't know if it's just started or not. Sounds almost like a tappety ticking but further down than the tappets.Any ideas/similar experiences before I book it into Dubsport????
