MrSloanes Posted October 25, 2011 Report Share Posted October 25, 2011 Well as per my previous post the car had been running terrible, was stuttering the Gareth gates with a stripper, usually a hour or so of driver after I had put petrol in, so I got the fuel filter changed and it ran like a dream... Until yesterday when after going to work which was fine it decided to run like it had no power on the way home, not stuttering like previously but consistently poor! (struggled getting to 50mph on a 3 mile stretch of straight road!) so now I am baffled! I don't think it's the fuel pump because it is not cutting out, I took the air filter out to take a look and it looks OKAY. A bit dirty so cleaned it up until I order a new one. MrSloanes Posted November 16, 2011 Author Report Share Posted November 16, 2011 Yeah well i have found my problem, its the bump sensor, its intermittant it says on scanner so we reset ecu which normally fixes it and it fixed it brilliantly for a day, so im ordering a new bump sensor tomorrow and going to change it friday morning hopefully so fingers crossed thats all thats wrong because they only about 20 quid. Had nothing but bother changing all sorts and now found out its 95% going to be the bump sensor that just needed changing. Fingers crossed!
