richyyy Posted October 8, 2011 Report Share Posted October 8, 2011 i have a w reg lupo sport, today i went to put it in first gear whilst stationary and the gear stick flopped over to first and just wobbled about and wouldn't select any gear. i pulled off the gaiter and found the pin going the gear stick to a metal spring loaded pate wasn't attached anymore. i managed to get it into 3rd to get it home to my garage but dont know how to get the gear stick ditting in the correct position and how this pin reattaches to the metal plate, any help would be much appreciated!
