gucciwah Posted March 3, 2011 Report Share Posted March 3, 2011 ok guys, i drive a lupo gti and it needs a new cv gaitor and lower ball joint is worn so i just need a few tips.whilst doing this i am going to convert to bigger brakes but i've already looked at the how to bit for that. what i was just wondering is..1. when replacing wishbones and bushes, do you need to mess about with cv joints2. cv boot and cv joints and gaitor, can anyone please tell me what the differences are, if only replacing cv gaitor.. is it best to change the rest thats attached to it aswell?3. does the driveshaft need to be taken off? silly i know4. what comes first and after, after you take the hub off. ball joints, cvs wishbones etc as i can't seem to find any diagrams. any help would be good. cheers, joh Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
