nfbr
Nope, You can only use the Pioneer connector to do it really.
robertfleckney
Ahh gutted. The last owner had installed a 3.5mm cable from the back of the headunit, but when you plug the ipod into it, there is no sound through the Aux source. Is this because it can only be used through the pioneer lead?
nfbr
Yup.

It doesnt seem to pick up the AUX channel.
jamiea7x
You have to enable the aux channel as I found out with mine look in your headunit instruction manual to find out how to do this it was aux channel 2 I had to enable for mine to workdon't know if yours will be the sane as mine while your headunit is on demo mode press the twiddly knob and scroll throught the options to find the aux channels and them enable themmight not be right nut off the top of my head that's how I enabled mine
