Millbrook Posted March 3, 2010 Report Share Posted March 3, 2010 (edited) Hello everyone,My girlfriend has just got herself a 53 Plate 1.0 Lupo, it has covered almost 47k but has no history of having the cambelt or water pump replaced.For peace of mind I want to get these repalced. I have phoned a local 'VW specialist' but was surprised how much they wanted to do the work. So I'm considering doing it myself as I have replaced cam belts before and have read on here that it's quite an easy job. However I would feel more confidant if a had a diagram and instructions or at least guide-lines to follow.So my question is; has anyone got access to AutoData? Cheeky I know - apologies for that! Failing that, does any one know of any links that I might find useful? I have searched but couldn't find a lot. Also, I'm assuming the 1.0 engine is the same as the one in Polo so would it be worth buying a Haynes manual for a Polo as there isn't one for the Lupo?
