number63 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Share Posted January 17, 2010 has anyone got any pics of the inside of the boot lid as ive had the central locking retro fitted to my doors for a year and just getting round to doing the boot , ive had a look at the inside but cant see how a solenoid would attach to the inside lock. any help massively appreciated. number63 Posted January 21, 2010 Author Report Share Posted January 21, 2010 just incase anyone else wants the answer to this one i have managed to fit central locking to the boot by going to the scrap yard and getting a central locking mechanism and vw solenoid and hooking it upto rclick central locking , it can only be done if you have the parts off a already central locking car as the lock part on a normal none central locking car doesnt have the necessary parts to do it.
