VWR Lupo
Having a bit of a problem with my Skoda Fabia, Under acceleration you can feel a vibration through the accelerator pedal. It's more apparent over 3000 rpm. Sometimes its so bad you can feel it through the floor. There is no noise to go with the vibration which is odd.I think its either dual mass flywheel or a clutch fault but as I have never felt anything like this even when I was a technican. Its the 1.4 16v 100 bhp engine (same as the Lupo/Arosa so I assume the clutch and flywheel set up is the same. Can anyone confirm the fault or have had a similar problem? Thanks in advance!Luke
1 Litre Screamer
And where was the phone call asking this???? Dam you lukey. It could be a misfire but probably is the dual mass as i had similar on my Bora. If it is that then there is diddley that can be done other than changing it but leave it until it breaks!I would put VCDS on it just to rule out a slight misfire that can also give a slight vibration as you know. You know the score!!Bye for now darling lukey lovey!! Edited December 20, 2009 by 1 Litre Screamer
VWR Lupo
Cheers Darren darling Its not a misfire because there is no loss of power at all, pretty certian its the dual mass flywheel
