Got my GTI stripped down to the barest of shells for paint, BUT I CANT GET THE TAILGATE LOCK OFF THE TAILGATE! Any tips on how to do it please? Loop6r Posted June 5, 2009 Author Report Share Posted June 5, 2009 I reckon with no doors or any bolt on panels, no engine, box and rear axle its gotta be less than 200 kg, it takes 2 of us to pick the shell up to move it around the workshop.
