VWR Lupo Posted May 23, 2009 Report Share Posted May 23, 2009 (edited) When I use to work for VW Racing we had a 1.0E Run-a-round car, we use the cain the living daylights out of it, the engine was well neglected! Never serviced on time and went about 10k over it's cam belt and water pump change.....but yet it just keeped going and going and going and going! s2000king Posted May 23, 2009 Report Share Posted May 23, 2009 well, seems like im one of the unlucky ones, had problems from the first day my family owned it (been in family since new), coolant temp sensor has now also failed as well as the 3 cylinders. bring on the GTi.
