Its a 1.4 16v and his text went as follows:"EPC light on and throttle not working at all. Battery off, played with the fuses, no joy. Restart it again, EPC light off, throttle back. bigkingdingaling Posted April 3, 2009 Report Share Posted April 3, 2009 Happens to me everytime i go on holiday...battery dies EPC light comes on throttle doesnt work.First time it happened I had it plugged into VAGcom...no fault codes appeared and then the mechanic just tried to start it and it worked fine.I think the ECU resets itself and something causes it not to work...I left it half a day and it was fine when i next started it.Now when i go on holiday I leave it on a trickle charger.
