davidp Posted February 11, 2009 Report Share Posted February 11, 2009 i'm looking at doing a engine swap from a polo gti . ive found one breaking but its got air conditioning, would this make things harder for me,or do i just take the ac pump of and pipes off. do you think it would be possable to get it working with my heating? cheers all. Lee_ Posted February 11, 2009 Report Share Posted February 11, 2009 Would take a few bits to get the AC working, compressor, air drier, condensor (rad), heater controls etc...Would be a lot easier just to unbolt the compressor from the block and leave it off.I'd imagine that would only need a shorter belt.
