~~ NeWbE LupO ~~ Posted January 24, 2009 Report Share Posted January 24, 2009 fitted a new remote lockin kit the other day and got the key cut today. i have 1.4 tdi sport and just recieved one standard key no buttons or frills. i took the key apart and attempted to get the jammed in chip out to put into my new remote key. I gave up after a while and just attempted to start my car and it keeps cuttin out so i think iv damaged the chip :(what can i do??? will i have to buy a new key or can you just buy the chip??
