Just bought a mk1 1.0 arosa (white) for half nothing, always liked these cars real project car look about them. Anyway i hope to start tearing it apart and whatnot. Ok so far iv.....1. Repaired!Wasnt starting, damaged distributer cap and rotor. Got a second hand one and new HT leads happy days!2. Serious serviceFilters, NGK plugs, octane blah.... oh and newish headunit and mental steam clean3. Halogens!Wedge bulbs (H22) Dims/Full (H4) Superbright!!! and 1 indicator bulbNear FUTURE: Proper shampoo, polish, wax (**** paintwork) Colour code everything exterior (front and rear lower bumpers, handles, mirrors) ALLOYS!!! have 8 spoke 13's standard seat ones.... yuckSprings OR coiloversRepair front bumper. Yes! There similar to the ones on the picture above except there not deep dish there in mint condition too and yeah coilovers are the way to go but its not my daily so i might pick up springs for the laughAny useful tips/info on mk1's?? lupo_1.0 Posted January 12, 2009 Report Share Posted January 12, 2009 from the top of my head you will need to open the bonnet, theres two scews on the top each side of the light. (on top of the grille) undo these. the once you have uncliped each end of the grille surround where they meet the wings. last thing is to unclip the bulbs. the whole surround will come away so you can then get to the screws at the top of the bumper. after this you will need to turn the wheels full lock to get to the 3-4 screws in the wings.think thats about it.oh and welcome along lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
