Dubbprince Posted March 28, 2009 Report Share Posted March 28, 2009 it makes a big difference once installed...i have the golf VR6 B&M kit in my car which uses the polo GTI setup of a 5 speed box:If you do install one, ditch the circlip they give you for the bottom of the shifter shaft (you'll see when you get the instructions) and replace this with a small keyring style ring...its more secure as i'm the 2nd person to find out the hard way.It cuts throw by upto 40%, like someone mentioned above...it makes more of a noticeable difference changing side to side, but the initial forward throw is massively cut down also! if you remember the opening scene to fast and furious for paul walker when he's in the green eclipse...the shift is like that, but without the noise lol.
