Back on topic now biggrin.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

What about exhaust back pressure, as the sport has a mid mount exhaust which has some major bends in it which could add some back pressure which in na could make a wee bit of difference?.

Sport cat or normal cat?

as for airfilter diameter isnt the sport and 75bhp 16v got the same part code and the same airflow sensor, same fuel pump so forth.

Infact im starting to convince meself vw couldnt afford to do much different as the sport included all mod cons and discs allround as standard and it wasent that much more expensive was it?

That AJV engine seems to have been used in the 6N polo, not the 6N2 polo.

The Lupo and Polo GTI models use the ARC and later the AVY engines, which put out 92kw, as opposed to the 88kw that the AJV engine puts out.

I always thought that exhaust is pretty much the same, just that the Trim is different, or in the 1.4's Case it don't have any

Do any of you guys have the part number for the Sport inlet maniford and Flywheel? I'll show you what I mean. ( if i can get the pic to load)

On the left is the standard Inlet and on the right is the Sport. As you can see the sport is larger in diametre and also longer. From the poor picture it looks as though it might be compatible. But i don't know some opinions would be nice, tell me what you think. biggrin.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
