cornishpasty Posted September 12, 2007 Report Share Posted September 12, 2007 Hi all, for about 3 months now the passenger door has been making three clunks as it is opened. It also makes 3 clunks when it is closing but not as loud. I searched on here and found people solved the problem by taking off the rubber guard where the gold strap comes out of the door, and inside are 2 10mm bolts. Both were pretty tight already, but I got them a couple of turns tighter. unfortunately it hasn't made the slightest difference to the noise. It sounds like it is coming from further inside the door, like where the strap is attached.
