VeeDubber Posted May 29, 2007 Report Share Posted May 29, 2007 For about a week the oil light on my lupo has been flashing every once in a while, and then stopping. Checked the oil level and it's fine.The temp gauge was also broke so thought the two problems were related, but now i replaced the temp sensor, the oil light still keeps coming on.Any ideas?? Mitchell Posted May 29, 2007 Report Share Posted May 29, 2007 the lift pump may be giving poor circulation/ thick build up in the sump. try flushing the oil sytem with engine flush for 5 mins on tick over whilst engine is hot, then drain and fill with cheap oil run for 1/2 hour then new filter and new oil.
