lupo_ro
Hi guys! I wanna make the conversion of rear axle, the one with discs on my Lupo, but I need to know if the rear axle from Polo 6n2 2001 is fitting perfectly without any modifications. In my country the GTIs are very rare in scrappy. So let me know. Waiting for your answer.
wehey
It's not really necessary or worth the trouble on such a small car.75% of the braking comes from the front brakes anyway and any upgrade of the rear will cause an imbalance imo Edited December 2, 2015 by wehey
lupo_ro
Ok,so you suggest, to upgrade the front brakes and not to change the rear ones.
wehey
I remember when I lowered an old car of mine without adjusting the rear brake compensator. This resulted in more braking going to the rear wheels. One day I had to do an emergency stop and the rear just locked up resulting in me coming to a stop sideways
