  1. Hi all! after having my clutch changed recently I had abit of drama with the bolts on my drive shaft coming loose due to vibration and my right hand shaft actually coming off luckily at a slow speed. When this happened i believe one of the threads has been f*****d as I can't get the last bolt in. I have someone who will rethread it for me but he wants to know the size of the bolts which is info I can't find anywhere. Any info is great. lupo 1.0e thanks ash
  2. Hi there, Please excuse my novice mechanical language.... I have owned my fox for around 7 months and recently it has developed a rattle near the top of what I believe is the timing belt, where it is attached to the engine itself. Please see video, < I let a friend who knows a fair amount about cars have a listen and he recommended that I don't take it anywhere so just now it is off the road. Any help or diagnostic much appreciated, Thanks, danielcraigdunc
  3. Hey guys, Did a search for this problem but basically as Lupo and Arosa TDI drive shafts are as rare as rocking horse ****, or expensive from the stealers, i've found a seller on ebay for the Lupo TDI. But he has sent me this message: This is for the passenger side front driveshaft. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  4. Hi There, I have an Lupo Sport engine code AUB with an ETB gearbox. My car has just been into VW for some diagnostics into a oil leak and they have told me that my gearbox is leaking. The selector shaft is damaged and is wearing through the seal. i have had the seal changed but still leaking. The car has only done 22,000 miles!! VW have told me that i need a new gearbox and quoted me over £3000!. so i have tried looking for a second hand gearbox on ebay etc. I cant seem to find an ETB gearbox, just the ETD from the 1.4s. My question is, Will the ETD gearbox fit my Lupo sport? Thanks Jack
