  1. Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me with my Lupo troubles. Ive had the car since July, Ive changed spark plugs, coil pack, ignition leads. Cleaned all throttle body out and hoses etc. Yet it still struggles with staying running , I start the engine and the revs drop to about 400 , yet i give it some gas and I can get going and its fine to drive away. But when still in traffic revs are 500 at its highest. Sometimes it cuts out and stalls and cuts out when cold or when Im doing manoeuvres too. Like steering to park into a spot. Its on and off and I cant get a OBD to connect to it as it displays “Link error” Could anyone help please. Its a 1.4 1999, Lupo S. Automatic.
  2. Hi, I have a seat arosa 1.0 and some time ago I cleaned the throttle body. Later when I started the engine idle sets on 2000 rpm and starts to oscillate to 2500. I tried to calibrate the throttler with a vag control and check if something was wrong with the throttle itself, but the problem is still there. I don't find any leak on collector system and the only error code vag gives me is the idle control works wrong. Furthermore, I tried anything and I don't know what more to do. Also, I changed the sparks plugs and the cables and still the same. The last thing I'm thinking is change the whole throttle body, but is an expensive repair for a 99's car. I don't know if there is a correlation, but another problem is the fuel consumption is so high for a 1.0 it consumes 7 liters for 100 km with a passive driving. I'm not used to write in this language, so sorry for my confusing writing.
  3. Hi there, My Lupo has just had a gearbox replacement, on return the car seems to have a rough idle. The revs stay on a constant 850rpm but after warming up the engine will pulsate and judder. HELP!
