Hello, I am looking to upgrade the head unit in a vw lupo so that it has aux input and Bluetooth connectivity to play music. I have absolutely no knowledge at all in this area and was wondering if somebody could provide some suggestions/recommendations on head units that are good quality. Many Thanks

Hello good fellow Lupo Heads! I recently got my first car (about 4 months ago), which is a basic 2004 Lupo 1.0, nothing to fancy but still a charm & love it more & more each day! ...Anyway, to cut to the chase Im hankering after a nice new stereo & a set of decent replacement speakers for the doors, all within a good budget - say no more than £250. ...Please forgive me and my lack of knowledge on both cars & fitting stereos etc but I could really do with some help/advice on how I would go about changing the stereo & what will/won't fit, & what I will need to buy etc for it to work & look in good shape? ...Im certain I want a stereo with built in cd & bluetooth but not to sure yet as to go for a single or double din unit (as I believe my lupo can accommodate either, having a stock vw beta radio & stock vw single cd player underneath). I have my eyes on getting a Sony MEX-N5100BT (as a replacement to the stock beta radio) then a pocket underneath (as a replacement to the stock cd player). I just want some feedback on how I would go about creating this set up in my car &/or if it would actually work? I have to admit I'm a little on the fussy side so would like it to look nice & not bulge out from the dash to much. Hi, I was thinking about buying some Pioneer TS-G1731I 17 cm door speakers. I pulled my old speakers out and it looks like the standard size is 5.5". I was just wondering if it's possible to fit these with adaptors? Cheers, Chris

Hello everyone, first, I apologize in advance for my English (I use my old English lessons and ... Google translation!) because I'm French. I am 32 years old, father of a little girl of 2 years. My car is a Lupo 1.4 TDI 75 bought used in September 2013. I am trying to bring together different pieces to "improve" but in a simple style. In september 2013 : I tinted rear windows I bought in November 4 wheels replica schmidt th line in 7x15 ET20. Tires are 185/45/15 Nankang. And last week, I bought 4 FK Coilover "Ak Street" promotion on the FK site. Received last Friday. I also have a "small" sound with a small subwoofer Helix diameter 20 cm (closed box 8 liters) and a small amp Macrom 4 channels. Rims and coilovers will be installed in the coming weeks. Pictures : Rear windows tint : Wheels : Wheels + tires : Macrom amp : Subwoofer Helix : My old sealed box (JL AUDIO 16.5 cm - 7 litres) that I've adapted to the new sub (Helix 20 cm - 8 litres) :

I am looking at buying some pioneer speakers for the front doors. What are there size? What do i need? How do i replace them (i've heard something about rivets or something and an adapter)?

Thought I'd start a build thread, seeing as I've added a fair few things to my interior. Outside of the car is standard, just clean. Interior wise, I've gone through 2 or 3 set-ups and I'm finally happy with what I've got: Pioneer AVH-3200BT. Focal 165KR (Components). ~ Awesome! Rockford Fosgate P400.4. ~ Claims to output 50W rms x4 @ 4Ohms but I've measured it to be far higher. Audio System X Subwoofer. ~ Built like a tank, from Germany. Old vs. New Subwoofer: Both 12" and the new one weighs about 14Kg!

hi i have been looking at the pioneer AVIC D3 and iv have been reading and reading through but im not 100% sure if it fits. i have 2002 lupo and was wondering if anyone could help me ? josh
