  1. Hi there, I was just wondering if anyone could help me price up a 2004 Lupo 1.0L I have seen a few online get snapped up for a decent amount even in non-running condition so just wondering what you would all value it at - ideally do not want to scrap! Problems Rear boot catch pushed into - so need to put a bit of pressure on the boot to open (no structural damage) Suspected gear box issue - gears not quite going into action all the time (so would consider underivable currently) Pros: Great interior - little internal wear and tear Great paintwork - no bubbling and still has her shine Only 2 owners - plus service history from date it was manufactured

  3. Hello good fellow Lupo Heads! I recently got my first car (about 4 months ago), which is a basic 2004 Lupo 1.0, nothing to fancy but still a charm & love it more & more each day! ...Anyway, to cut to the chase Im hankering after a nice new stereo & a set of decent replacement speakers for the doors, all within a good budget - say no more than £250. ...Please forgive me and my lack of knowledge on both cars & fitting stereos etc but I could really do with some help/advice on how I would go about changing the stereo & what will/won't fit, & what I will need to buy etc for it to work & look in good shape? ...Im certain I want a stereo with built in cd & bluetooth but not to sure yet as to go for a single or double din unit (as I believe my lupo can accommodate either, having a stock vw beta radio & stock vw single cd player underneath). I have my eyes on getting a Sony MEX-N5100BT (as a replacement to the stock beta radio) then a pocket underneath (as a replacement to the stock cd player). I just want some feedback on how I would go about creating this set up in my car &/or if it would actually work? I have to admit I'm a little on the fussy side so would like it to look nice & not bulge out from the dash to much. Am I right in saying I could replace the stock radio for the Sony MEX-N5100BT as is, then simply replace the stock cd player with this pocket underneath the stereo: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271891048751?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2648&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Would really appreciate any advice/help! Cheers Matt.
  4. Hello, I am new to this and joined as I need help with my Lupo, My EGR Valve is stuck! There are 2 more screws below the EGR Valve that are hard to access but I don't know if these need to come off! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Also if anyone can put pictures of the EGR Valve from there lupo on the website that could also help me. Thanks
  5. Up for sale is my Lupo sport project because I have far too many projects, and just don't have the time to finish it! Everything is there to complete it. The engine is in position on the mounts but not fully wired up. I have attached the driveshafts and gear linkage but you will need to fit the exhaust manifold/intake/throttle body/fuel rail etc. and all wiring (all there in the engine bay, just needs connecting). It is a 1.4 16v Lupo Sport with 91000 miles. The car is still MOT'd but not sure how long. It has electric windows but the drivers side has come off runner, easy fix. The door check straps also creak when opening the doors but this is a very common problem and an easy fix can be found on the forum! Everything else is in good working order; brakes and handbrake, power steering etc. etc. Modifications include a wide-arch body kit (this seems to look more extreme in photo's than it does in real life), debadged grill with welded up bonnet, tinted windows, side exit exhaust, depo indicators, stripped out rear, corbeau bucket seats with momo harnesses, and a full respray in black with a purple tint - someone spent some serious money on this car at some stage! Please note: the coilovers and alloy wheels have been removed and sold, it is currently on standard suspension and steel wheels. The body kit needs some work in places, it has cracked at the rear arch, and started coming away on one of the front wings, so has been bonded back on. This could be an easy project for someone, and being a 2004 car I believe it is good value. The buckets/subframes/harnesses are worth a bit on their own, engine would be worth £300, and like I said everything is there to finish it off, I just don't have time to turn it into the 'show car' it was planned to be. Location: Corsham, nr. Bath Contact: Please feel free to PM, or text/call 07837 892836 This is a project, and I am very much open to offers for a quick sale because I need the storage space!!
