Hi Everyone, I’m from Sheffield and i've had my GTi for a couple of months now and loving it, just decided to join up on here after browsing as a guest for a bit. I'm looking for a bit of advice really, i've just bought a replacement stereo and in the installation instructions it recommends disconnecting the negative lead on the battery before I plug in the wiring looms. The question is do you guys recommend this or don't you bother as it just extra hassle? Thanks in advance.
