  1. Im adding this here, saves cluttering the forums up.

I had mani + exhaust + sport cat fitted about 2 months ago. The other day the check light came on, so I hooked Vag-com up today and its ready

    Error code:

16517 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: Response too slow.

Ive read on here that, this is the fault the manifold brings up, just wanting to double check this

And also whether this will cause the car to run dodgy, if i dont get it sorted?

  2. looks cool, get it slammed tho, and skinnier lower profile tires lol

    any more plans??

Well plans are get boot fitted and sprayed, and get arches rolled. Bash some spacers on so i can slam it fully.

    Remapped

    boot install

then see where it goes from there

  3. when and were are the meets around yorkshire area? am from leeds and tbh i aint seen many lupos that aint standard around here, only a blue gti with white stripes and a red tdi with black badboy bonnet and what looked like 17's

Theres a meet at the carbrook hall in sheffield on the first wednesday of every month for all vw

  4. Right so today was fantastic!

Parked up near college and nipped into a shop to get something to eat came out and my friends (who i left in the car) had the great joy of telling me someone ( a stupud old man ) had reversed into me!

Long story but anyway the damage isn't bad really theres a small fist sized dent on the drivers wing right along the crease line!

He's agreed to pay aslong as its not stupid otherwise its going through insurance :( which i dont want.

So my question is where can I go in barnsley area, tried spray and bake near redfearns and he quoted me 138 this seems a bit expensive though surely?

    Anyone any help please?

    why not go through insurance?

If he reversed into you, it wont affect your no claims

  5. well i found a 1.4 turbo kit for £800, but if ive looked around for the 1.8T engine and that goes for around £1,500 - £2000 then you gota get someone to fit it and uprate the brakes and suspension so yer its guna be costly aint it. but i do want reliability so 1.8T conversion would probably be best, not sure how you go about making it road legal tho like insurance companys and road tax etc?

i have put a fair bit of time and effort into my lupo and i find it a fun car to drive but now im geting abit bored of the power but dont wana get rid of the car :)

what kinda gains are you looking at if you turbo your 1.4 sport engine?

You got a link to this kit?

    Seems a bit cheap tbh.

Then you need to uprate your internals to take the power

As a rough guide, I was quoted 6000 by a few companies to have a 1.8t dropped in. Thats without me doing any of the work.
