Will the Gti boot spiler fit on the tdi, i have seen the guide to taking the gti spoiler off an it looks like the lupo tdi boot just without the light ???? any ideas thanks ?????

Yeh they are Et 20 ive got 185/55/14 on there originaly on the standard rims it had 185/55/14 so if the new alloys didnt work out i could just put the tyres back on the originals. But because the wheels are so wide i wanted to keep the profile around 55/50 just so its not sretching to much but i think it may have ben better to put a lower profile on. Also the tyres are no were near the arches i just think that the rear suspension is **** !!! my Dad recons putting gas struts on it ????

Ive just got some 14inch 8J borbet t`s for the lupo and put some 185 tyres on. They dont catch on the front but when you get one passanger in the back it catches on the arch i was woundering if i could get stiffer springs ??? or lower it by 40mm but hopefully that will give it that extra strength. Any ideas ???i will try and put some pics up.

Hi how the hell do u get to the Air filter on the tdi i have tried taking the front light out even thought about taking the front wing off !!!!!! and is there a haynes service book out for it yet !!! Thanks

Well i fitted them without tyres these rims are and sat the rims on blocks of wood just to see how well they would fit, the rim is just out the arch and i was thinking of stretching the tyres also the rims are ET21 !!!!!

Ive just bought the wheels and they are stickin out the arch by about an inch, has anyone put 8 inch wheels on a lupo can i get away with it or is it forbidden

hi I am interested in buying some borbet t alloys and were wondering if they will fit my lupo tdi, the stud diametre is 100x4 they are 14x8 ET20 not to sure what that means i am guessing that is the diametre and the width Thanks Jason

you were the guy that got 117bhp with an air filter a custom map and a back box removal i remember reading about it, were did u have the map done ?? and could i achieve that do you think cheers ????

Yeh i had the same problem with mine, the windows on them are not designed very well basically it could be a few things the switch may be breaking down or the regulator may have packed up. I got so fed up with mine that i took it to an electrical expert cost me £200 !!! but the parts are not expensive and it is not a very hard job i didnt have the time to mess around with it at the time but if u dont know what u are doing with it i wouldnt bother D.I.Y

I Have this poblem with my tdi sport but the idle varies from 0.8 which is standard for the car then it will raise to 1000 or sometimes even 1200. I dont think there is a choke for the tdi as it is a diesel so i dont think that is the problem but i am not to sure any ideas what it could be ???????
