hi there i am currently changing the enginee in my 1.4 16v lupo i was just wondering if anyone knew if i got hold of a gti engine would it fit ok plug in all right etc etc my engine is shot so it needs a new one and thought a little extra power would be nice. any info and if ti would be a quite stright forward swap or not as my engine ie now out and just waiting for me to find another one

ok i know this has been covered but just making sure i have got it right. to put mk2 arosa lights on my lupo i follow this guide? http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=9305 so i just move the pins around in the plug to the correct position? or have i got it wrong?

thanks to everyone but i have know fitted the fronts by welding the frames to my lupo ones so i still get to adjust them with ease. just trying to figure out how to do the back as they have massive brackets!

yeh i thought as much for the front but i need to get the backs in or the front will look crap on there own!

as any one put mk1 tt seats in a lupo if so what is involved as i am considering buying a set front and rear but just need to what to do to fit them? cheers luke

ok have not updated the lupo in awhile so will do it now. *will get more picture tomorrow* well first it just past it's mot first time!!! very please about this as i thought it was gonna fail big time! but its currently looking very sorry for it's self on standard shocks and springs at the rear with 60mm wietec springs at the front look like a giant wedge! but new coilovers on there way and currently looking for some new shoes again! after going up to brummy today and also getting lost on the way back! i picked up a new headunit for the car which if the weather is ok tomorrow will get fitted. it's fromt a 2004 seat and i think its gonna be a brilliant little mod to the car! crnt wait to test it out. thats all for now will get picture tomorrow.

ok might be a stupid questing but i was just wondering would i be able to fit lupo gti head lights to a 1.4s? of course i know i would need all the extra wire etc for the xenon but would they fit or need major modification?

ok well i have a set of wire wheels that all need tyres they are 13"'s and 7j any one know of a good size dont need to worry about strecth but needs to be a low profile cause of the car being lowered. going on a lupo guy the the tyre shop said 185/60r13 looked on the web and they look massive on wheels! but are quite cheap any ideas?

yeh 4x100 adaptors and they are 7j but nice amount of dish as pictured thanks for all the comments just order some chrome vavles for them so they all stay nice and bling! all ready got two 175/55 just need two more then all sorted. dont really wanna put them on untill i have finished the side and put the smoothed bumper on.

*Update* well first i finally got a new bulb for my ~HIDs~ so i fitted them sooooo much brighter on the roads now i love it. and also after much ummm and arrrr-ing i decided that i dont want the cults now so am probs gonna sell them so new wheel where needed then i found some that i thought would make the lupo stand out from the crowd! arrived today and i think they look the nuts and will look even better when fitted just need some new tyres for christams and will be all sorted. let me know what you guys think.!

i was going to go mirrior polish lips and and jazz blue centers. my holes have been drilled and re tapped so i have found some s/s spike bolts for them. just bit pricey.

yeh looking for a standard grill as we speak, and yeh stevo 13x7 at front 13x8 at rear, just looking for some bolts, found some nice spiked head ones but looking at about £2.50ish a bolt. Things left to do finishing trimming front door cards and centre console Brown Porsche scripted seats ( if i can find them again) or some sort of porsche seats wheels and find some bolts for outter edge just got a smoothed rear bumper for it so will get that painted and put on. find a suitable front bumper fit xenons finish bump strip's grill!!!!

ok haven't updated this inawhile because it rocking it winter look at the moement. but got hold of a camera and took some shots. ignore the bumpstrips crap in the progress of removing it. sorry about the photos still trying to figure out the settings and i have no photoshop. few of the interior still need to finish the front door cards and center console thinking of getting some gti clock fitted too. few shots of the wheels. and how i want them too look. any one know a good cheap wheel refurb? let me know what you guys think! luke x
