Hi all Ive been looking at a set of Audi wheels, with a pcd of 5x100 so hub adaptors will be needed. But I have heard stories about them putting more wear on the bearings and ball joints ect. Well been's as my car has done high milage already would it not be a good idea or shall I just give it a bash? (If I did have problems with the bearings could I change them myself or is it a garage jobby?) Anyone had any bad experiences with Hub adaptors or hubcentric spacers ect? Thank youuuuu

Those tyres are massive I would have 165/50/15 on them, little stretch. I want them jazz blue with the polished lip or fully polished

HI all been keeping an eye out for a reasonably price set of vw roof bars but all I can find it polo and golf ones. Will these fit on my loop? Could I modify them to fit? Cheers

I emailed phil again yesterday just asking how long they would be an I had a reply this morning telling e that the English speaking supplyer was on holiday and the Lupo coilies were out of stock I should get told wen they arrive tomorrow hopefully. My loop needs it's new toys lol

Has anyone had any problems with how long their philJ coilies have taken to arrive? I ordered mine on the 5th of may and they still haven't come. Phil said they would be here by last friday. I'm getting quite worried.

Alright rich I was thinking about lobing the back seats out for a system but I was worried about the thugs seeing them and breaking into my car for them. Have you had any problems with these sort of things?

Not yet but its going down to £20 next year Well he knew dam well what was wrong with it. And yep in good hands now I will look after her.

Yeah the bloke did me over a bit telling me that there was a problem with the thrust bearing which was going to cost 180 quid to get repaired ended up needing the gearbox reconditioned and a new clutch kit which set me back £800, I could have had the car well kitted up with that but oh well it's done now and I love my little smokey diesel. Too right £35 to tax it 65mpg and I killed off a sport the otherday :-D, well it was a lass driving it :-( lol U just have to cook your lights on a low heat for a bit then peel the lense off, paint what bits u want painted and glue it back together. There's a good tutorial on here in the how to's Cheers

Different is what I want to achive :-D. One of the other reasons I took the multispokes off is that they have 195/50-15 tyres on and when I drop it I didn't want them messing up my arches ect. Just in the middle of building a sub box, only just realised how tight the loops boot is lol.

Hi all got my lupo about 3 weeks ago. Started on a few small mods. When I got it Lights and badges come off for painting, I decided to do the lights the same colour as the car What they look like now colour coded the black part of the badge and blacked the veedub logo The car did have a towbar but it had to come off so with a bit of grinding and hammering I managed to hide it and fill the hole in the bumper in Oh and I have put the standard 14's on because the multispokes dont suit the car I've got a set of 16" Ronal R7's from my previous car so I put a couple on to see what they look like I might put them back on when the philj's arrive coz it looks like a monstertruck, should be the end of the week hopefully. Will keep you all up to date.

I had the same problem when I took my bumper off and pulled the rubber seal out, the boot wouldn't shut all the way so the sensor brought up my boot light on the dash. All I did was push the rubber in all the way and it was sorted.

Could you post a vid up I'm really interested in what my 6valve will sound like with a decent zorst. You can practice on mine lol. What would your plans be if you had a Tdi?

Cheers Al, was it not really loud when you had straight through pipes? I decated my pervious car and my god was it loud it used to scare little children playing in the street lol. I might get a quote from powerflow and see what they say about bore size. Will also keep you in the "loop" olly, lol.

Hi all I have been looking at having a custom exhaust made by powerflow for my tdi but I was just wondering what sort of sound would come out of it I dont want to sound like a corsa with scooby exhaust on, just a sporty note. I have seen a few vids on youtube of tdi exhausts and they have a high pitched whistle, like this which I love, would the little 3 pot loop have the same noise? had any one got a vid of theirs?Also is it illegal to decat a diesel as it needs a smoke test not an emmisions test? And what sort of bore could I have? Cheers.
